Newark residents can contribute to a cleaner and healthier community by bringing their old, unused electronics to a free e-waste collection event taking place, rain or shine, on Earth Day, Thursday, April 22nd, at Peter Francisco Park, located between Edison Place and Ferry Street near Penn Station in Newark’s Ironbound District from 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. New this year, a satellite drop off location will be located at BCB Bank at 249 Ferry Street and will be open during the same hours for added convenience and so more people from throughout the Ironbound District can participate.

Atlantic Cape Community College Atlantic Cape Community College will host a pop-up drive-thru vaccine clinic Jan. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its Worthington Atlantic City Campus.
The event, which is first-come first-serve, is open to the public and includes popcorn for adults and a free all-day wristbands for Steel Pier in Atlantic City for children. Organizers said anyone 5+ is welcome and those under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian. To learn more click here.
